Edifier Sent Me Headphones in 2021 and I Turned It Into a 5K View Post

Back in December 2021, Edifier sent me headphones and I posted content around it that hit about 5K views. This was early in my run of tech and setup content where I was learning what formats actually held attention. Headphones are tricky because you can’t really show sound properly, so the video has to do more than just “here they are.”

The way to make headphones work on TikTok is visual payoff and a clear use case. How they fit the setup, how they look on desk, what kind of vibe they give, and why someone would choose them. People don’t want an audio engineer breakdown. They want a quick reason to care and enough proof that it’s not junk.

That 5K view result matters because it shows the content got distributed even though the category is not naturally viral. A lot of headphone posts die because they are boring. If you keep the pacing tight and make the product feel like part of your actual setup, it has a chance to move.

Edifier also fits the “clean brand alignment” side of my portfolio. It’s not a random brand drop. It matches the audience, it matches the page, and it matches the category I was already posting. That makes the integration feel natural, which is what protects trust long-term.

This is why I still include smaller collabs like this. Not every partnership needs a huge number attached to it. Sometimes it’s about showing consistency in the niche, and showing that even back in 2021 I was already getting brands in the space to ship product and trust me to post.
